To: Pacific Agribusiness Alliance

We are pleased to contact your organization directly after visited your web site. First of all, please let me make a brief introduction about my company on behalf of China's Ministry of Agriculture (MOA).

We are Orient Agribusiness Consultants (BOABC), which is a government-based market research organization engaged in China's Agricultural, Food & Forestry industry study. Being recommended from the Foreign Affairs of the Agricultural Ministry in Beijing, as the Exclusive Distributor for the sale of these publications (Yearbook & Development Report, etc.), I am honored to have this opportunity to write this letter and introduce China's Agricultural Yearbook (2000) & China's Agricultural Development Report to you.

Since the Yearbook started to publish in 1980's (including all the agricultural statistics data), it had achieved successfully over the past two decades and received widespread compliments from foreign governments (agriculture sections), economic research institutions, universities and other international or national business associations, agribusiness firms, etc. As you know, on the occasion of China's accession to the World Trade Organization, upon reaching the several crucial Agricultural Cooperative Agreement between China-U.S., China-Canada, as well as the agreement with the Europe Union, etc., China will soon be a "Hot Potato" for its attractive agricultural market potentiality. China's agricultural policies and market trends become more sensitive to those who had paid great attention to this market. Currently we are serving more than 30 multi-national agribusiness companies both overseas and inside China. Upon accession, lots of foreign companies may enter into the market particularly in the agricultural industry, so we assume that our publications will be important and useful for your export marketing strategies in the near future. The total number of published yearbook & development report will only be 300 copies, so please don't miss the chance!

Enclosed you will find the Table of Content with Order Form of the Yearbook and a Profile of BOABC (in Word format), and this Yearbook will be available in February.

For the China's Agricultural Development Report (since 1995), it contains the most dynamic market trends, agricultural projects information with foreword and abstract from the leadership of China's Ministry of Agriculture (Agricultural Minister, etc.). The report will be also published within February. I think the report is a best understanding for you about China's current agricultural situation ( production, consumption, investment, import & export ,etc.) If you would like to know more about this, I will send the Proposed Outline for your reference. We believe that these two important publications may interest you on either its agricultural statistics or domestic development projects in order to meet your information demand on different sections of China's agricultural industry (Field Crops, Livestock, Forestry, etc ).

I am assuming that you might be interested in these two publications for your daily works. For further information about BOABC's consulting services or if you have any questions on the publications, please advise me anytime.

I am looking forward to hearing from you at your convenience.

Yours sincerely,
